In my opinion, no religion or holy text has the "ultimate formula" or is greater than any other. It's just a matter of what suits you. So don't be afraid to comparison shop.
I have opted to be more of a spiritual person in lieu of a religious one. I've decided not to put any labels on or pigeon hole "God" by saying what it is or is not. Or what it does or does not want. I allow "God" to show me what "IT" is instead of allowing others to tell me what "IT" is.
It works for me...

Martyrism.... all martyrs are said to go to some form of heaven... Just make sure you choose one where the believers will hold you as a heroic martyr
