I told her that there are actually places that you pay, like staffing companies, which will find housing for you and find you a job. Many of these caters to illegal immigrants. What do you think about that? And do you think the INS can use these places to help find undocumented people?

In a nutshell it bowls down like this...
INS tracks down illegal immigrants to put them in jail (wasting out tax dollars) to then ship them out back to their countries (more of our money again)
Immigrants who are illegal cannot apply for a social security card BUT they CAN apply for a tax identification number that allows them to work and pay taxes even though they don't have any LEGAL right to be here (mind boggled yet??)
Then of they can't work they apply for welfare, food stamps etc. and if they don't have a legal ss card number the system automatically assigns them one (makes you wonder doesn't it?)
So it's not just some places that cater to illegal immigrants its EVERYONE. You would think that the minute they notified the IRS that they had a identification number instead of a social security number because they are ILLEGAL, INS would be notified and do their job. Nope. You would also think when they walked into any community based office without legal documentation they would be denied and INS would be notified. Nope.
It's a big circle that benefits only one party and that is the illegal immigrants. Our laws here are a joke and they know it.
