Romans 8:28 "For all things work to the good of those who love God and who are called according to His purpose."
This reminds me that everything that happens in my life - good or bad - will be used for God's glory and purpose.

Saint Michael the Archangel defend us in battle. Be our protection againts the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God cast into Hell Satan an dall evil spirits who wander through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

I love this question! I love Jeremiah 29:11 to pray but I do pray one prayer over my youngest child every night (sometimes I have different verses to pray over each child)
And it is:Psalm 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
-I pray the Lord will instruct him and counsel him with His eye upon him.
I love this scripture!!

Surah 113 Al-Falaq:
1:Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the Daybreak
2: From the evil of that which He created;
3: From the evil of the darkness when it is intense,
4: And from the evil of malignant witchcraft,
5: And from the evil of the envier when he envieth.
*
75: Then, even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than rocks, for hardness. For indeed there are rocks from out which rivers gush, and indeed there are rocks which split asunder so that water floweth from them. And indeed there are rocks which fall down for the fear of Allah. Allah is not unaware of what ye do.
75: Have ye any hope that they will be true to you when a party of them used to listen to the word of Allah, then used to change it, after they had understood it, knowingly ?
76: And when they fall in with those who believe, they say: We believe. But when they go apart one with another they say: Prate ye to them of that which Allah hath disclosed to you that they may contend with you before your Lord concerning it ? Have ye then no sense ?
77: Are they then unaware that Allah knoweth that which they keep hidden and that which they proclaim ?
78: Among them are unlettered folk who know the Scripture not except from hearsay. They but guess.
79: Therefore woe be unto those who write the Scripture with their hands and then say, "This is from Allah," that they may purchase a small gain therewith. Woe unto them for that their hands have written, and woe unto them for that they earn thereby. " - 2:74-79
There are many, but those are two of my personal favorites.

I often use various Psalms to pour out my heart to God.
For example, when I need to be reassured of God's dependability, during a difficult time I pray and put my name into Psalm 121
I look up to the mountains
does my help come from there?
My help comes from the LORD
who made Heaven and earth!
He will not let me stumble
the one who watches over Dawn
will not slumber.
Indeed, He who watches over Israel
never slumbers or sleep.
The Lord Himself watches over me
The Lord stands beside me as my protective shade.
The sun will not harm me by day
nor the moon by night.
The Lord keeps me from all harm
and watches over my life.
The LORD watches over me as I come and go
both now and forever.
What wonderful reassurance.

One of my favorites is Jer 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you" (A) —[this is] the LORD's declaration—"plans for [your] welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." [HCSB]
