Ladies, is 5'9 short for a guy? What is the minimum height you'd go out with a guy? Also, how tall are you? Most women say as long as he's taller than her.

5'9" better not be short for a guy, because that's exactly average. I do hear most women say that it doesn't matter much as long as the guy is at least her height. Have a nice day!

It's the minimum height necessary for most women's tastes. If you're shorter, then you'll have to have other things to offer or go for more appreciative women. Many of the best looking men in Hollywood are that height, like Stallone, Cruise, Clooney, and others.

5'9 is on the shorter ingredient for adult men, i think 5'eleven is common. the only reason your top could be a element on your relationship is while you're making it one. I am 5'8" but I dont really care as long as I like the guy. But I prefer not to like someone who's shorter than me. But even same height does not bother me.
I think the models look good with their boyfriends and the guys in those cases are often shorter than them. But they still look pretty cute.

It's average! but to a woman that is 5'7" or taller it's short because once they put on heels they are 5'9" or taller. find a chick that is 5'5" or shorter if you wanna look tall.

5'9" is fine, only 1 inch from the guy average, but truly, height is not a problem unless you make it a problem, if they're still hung up on it, simply say "I know my height and I'm over it, are you?" either makes them re-access themselves, or forced their feelings about it to the surface

Nope, not at all. I am 5'6, and have dated several guys that weren't extremely tall. Like you said above, as long as he is taller than me, then I don't care. If a guy gives me butterflies and can make me laugh, then I am one happy woman.

no 5'9 isn't short for a guy... the maximum height of a guy that I would go out with would be 6'0... I am 5'6 and single...

5 9 is a little below average. Im 5' 10 and I know I feel short sometimes. Take care of your body, build muscle, gain confidence. You wont care that your 5'9 anymore.
