I am listening to the Presidents speech. He just said if we got out of Iraq it would increase sectarianism and influence of Iran and Al-qeada.

If Iran (shiite theocracy) and al - Qeada (sunni theocracy) fill the void and battle after we exit, isnt that what the USA should want?

Our archenemy for over 30 years Iran vs our neo-archenemy going to war against each other?

USA is not gona head out of iraq untill it completely utilises its oil fields, then it will attack iran and use its oil field,
They are doing the same thing which the british used to do when they use to take over others land, first, divide them on their culture, etc, then utilise their resosurces and leave them high and dry so that they never recove again,
lets just say that the American government is carring on the legacy of the British Empire

Iran is far more complicated than that, and the politics involved. Instead, do your OWN research and study into what's going on over there w/o Bush's "pov" in the way. You'll understand things a lot better and might be amazed and a little frightened by what you find.

The machinations of politics are rather spooky and nauseating all at the same time.

War against Iran?

Am I the only person on here that ISN'T an idiotic yank with their head in the sand, saying the US is the strongest country on earth?

Look up the Iranian armed forces.

These sights might help you.

Notice how Iran's military outnumbers yours 6-1.

Please don't be so silly in future,

..and then the oil gets blocked, the economy collapses,The USA goes into oblivion, and before long, you get to worry about whether you can go shopping without getting blown up. A line has been drawn, the reason we went to Iraq is no longer relevant. We ARE there now,we can take it to them,or,do not be so naive, they will certainly take it to us.

All of the people in that region have been warring with each other forever so I think the US should pull out and let them have at each other and send the ones here back there to join in with them.
