I love the friendliness of the people and willingness to welcome you into their home (or pub). I've had many great times in England and Scotland. I must say one of the best times I've ever had in my life was as a guest at a caliegh in Edinburgh, Scotland. The food is good, too! Fish and chips, bangers and mash, bar food in general, and great domestic beers.

Hi, I'm a former brother in Arms with the U.S. Army and I am from the Midwest. I like all the many people of the United Kingdom and visited most of it. I particularly liked the Brummies and The Bull Ring shopping market in Birmingham. I also found a relationship between the hard working blue collar workers of the midwest and the British citizens of this Steel and Industrial city where people work very hard. I love trying to decipher the Brum accent and enjoy my most favorite music that came out of Birmingham, such as; The Moody Blues, The Move, The Electric Light Orchestra, Judas Preist, Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. I can see how Heavy Metal Music was appropriately given birth out of this heavy Steel Industrial City!

I had the very good fortune to visit England and loved it. I love London, it is so vibrant, so alive, it is like New York that way but safer, cleaner, more polite. I also visited Scotland and Edinburgh, where my family originated, and loved that. I thought the British people were very nice, friendly, open, and was actually surprised how friendly the Scottish people are. I guess the best thing for me about England is the English Common Law that has its presumption of innocence, it is the cornerstone of all human rights.

Love the british accent on a woman, not the prim and proper one but the one you would here at a pub. I'm a history buff, so all the historic landmarks in the UK are great to visit.

I love the British sense of humor. I also like the politeness I've found in those British folks I've met. Plus I have a weakness for women with fair skin! LOL

Well having been to britannia a few times, I love London. I love the fact that there are pubs on just about every corner. And I love fish and chips. I will be in Heathrow in november, and look forward to spending some time in Englad again.

I love their accent, their fashion sense and their crazy obsession for soccer and celebrities, you guys take everything over the top.
I'm glad you like our American accent, I personally like the British one too, although the Scottish accent is the best, isn't it funny how we all love foreign accents other than our own?

I have never been on that side of the pond, but I have always been a fan of that dry British wit-- like with Terry-Thomas and such!
