I have a valid visa to UK, which expires in 2008...... besides that I am a resident to Canada. I need to travel on Tuesday 29th May,2007 and my confirmed return is on the 26th June,2007. My Passport expires on the 13th of August, and I return well before time to submit it for renewal. So is it OK to travel now ??

You should be fine. I would take a copy of my birth cirtificate, drivers liscence and a copy of a bill from your residence in Canada with you * just in case *.

If I were you, I would call the UK embassy and ask. Most countries will not allow entry unless your passport expires more than 6 months from your entry date. However since you are a resident of Canada that might make a huge difference. I would call right away, that way you have time to change travel plans or resolve the problem if the UK takes exception.

You have plenty of time to get a new passport. Some countries won't let you enter if your passport is about to expire. See Link.

Yep you can go ahead with your travel, Indian Commission in UK can help you if you stay long and can extent the validity of your passport depending on the situation, best way is to return in time, Good Luck

Yes.
If for some reason you cannot return then Canadian or.... Consulate or Embassy can renew it by mail or in person in UK.
Under this condition request renewal in advance before leaving for UK, see if they will do it contact the passport office.

Canadiens nationalsl do not need a visa for the UK
