If you feel the need to use scripture in your response, please limit the use of it as much as possible, as I have already read it. Using a verse or two for reference is one thing, but preaching at me is unnecessary and will most likely cause me to overlook your answer.

As long as the sacrificial offering is not me, a member of my family or ' Bootsie', my cat, I'm all for it! It would really help to weed out some of the undesirable knuckleheads of society and overpopulated animal species.

Hi, I'm a Christian,

You seem to want a "right to the point" type answer, so here it is !

Human sacrifice: Of course I do not condone this practice; In Biblical days there were some who practiced it; it was called
"Molech practice", and God states that He
"hates it". This is where babies and very young children were thrown into a burning
fire. Today, a form of that is practiced whenever you hear of a Church that preaches "if you're not a good boy/girl, you are going to burn in hell".

Animal sacrifice: Done away with since the crucifiction of Christ. To practice this today would be an insult to the blood shed by
Christ. It would state that the sacrifice for
one and all time (Christ) was not sufficient.

Animal sacrifice was used by God for a time with the Jews before the coming of Christ. Not because the actual blood somehow covered sin, but because the faith involved and the picture of the coming sacrifice of Christ did.

Once Christ had made his sacrifce, the animal sacrifices were no longer needed, and have ended.

As far as human sacrifice, only one was ever needed. And that was the sacrifice of Christ. Since his did everything needed, any others would be a waste.

Animal sacrifice was OT. Not needed now. Jesus Christ
was the pure Lamb of God, that died for everyman from Adam
until the last person to be done. I won't bore you with Scripture.

Every mans sin is paid for by Christ, but not every man will be saved because they don't believe that Jesus is the Christ the
One True and only Divine/Human God!

We have a human sacrifice today. Millions of babies are being sacrificed to the sex godess. Her name is pro-choice.
God will not let this abomination go on much longer. He will avenge the slaughter of millions of innocent babies. A baby is a gift of God and the very people chosen to protect these little ones are the ones killing them. These people are mothers, doctors, lawmakers, and those that support this autrocity.

The sacrifice of Jesus cancelled the need for animal sacrifice. Sacrificing humans is just plain wrong. I leave that one up to God, He decides who gets sacrificed.

God's wrath burned against flesh. God vested His Son in flesh, that He might fulfill the law through a sinless sacrifice. It is the foundation of Judeo-Christianity. Without blood, there is no remission of sins. No remission of sins = the entire world @ enmity with God.

I see this more of the excuse why people refuse to follow Jesus, but the irony here is that if you believe any part of the Bible, then you must realize that the entire Bible is about the prophecies of God. The Old Testy prepared it, the New Testy executed it.

Christians, at least the ones I hang around with, oppose human and animal sacrifices.

Muslims, on the other hand, seem to have no problem with human sacrifices.

Human and animal sacrifice is not necessary because Jesus is the last and ultimate sacrifice who died on the cross for you.
