good luck.that is sweet.
ask about what he likes to do ,sports, play station...if you do not agree with some of the things he says do not lie and say:"oh! i love that too".be yourself from day 1!!!!!
tell him what you enjoy.tell him funny stories about your pet or vacations.
what are fave things to eat ....tell him what things you can fix really good-even if it is just a sandwich.!!!!.if you are ok together, offer to fix this for the next date!!!
what has been his best vacation and where does he want to go later on,what countries would he like to visit and why.
do not stress if there are silences.he asked u out,he likes you already.he is probably as nervous as you!
go to a zoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
do not over dress, nor over make up,not over perfume your pretty self! do not go -yet- to eat food that can be embarrasing to eat like spaguetti or sky high hamburgers that will fall apart.
don´t be on your cell !!! RUDE RUDE RUDE!oh..and ..a kiss maybe.nothing else!!!trust me.....

Almost any place that's fun would be a good place to take a date. Conversation should come naturally. The whole point is to get to know each other, so just talk about whatever. Good luck!

well, you can ask him. what he likes in a girl, or what his interests are. if you dont know him that well, then you can ask him basic questions like, his birthday, or how many siblings does he have in the family, stuff like that. later on, he will start telling stories of his life and thats good make sure you tell him some stuff too, or he will think you getin bored. for the place, uhm, it could be a resturant like if its during a meal time. or a coffee place for snack, or a snack bar.. anywhere you guys can talk to each other is a good place for a date. good luck

Always go for social places. They spark up any topic and makes things less awkward, especially for beginning dates. You'll have more fun. Good luck.

Don't go somewhere boring, like coffee. Go somewhere fun! That way it's less awkward and just good times.
You can talk about what you like to do. Just try and get to know the other girl. Fill in the gaps if you can. But don't ask TOO many questions.. it's not an interview!

I know you hear this a lot...but you're young and the dynamics of your relationship shouldn't get too serious at this point...you'll have tons of time to have a serious committed relationship.

Keep the date light and fun. How about miniature golfing? Video arcade, Ruby Tuesdays, movies, the mall and have a coffee at starbucks.

Have fun!

Ok. well you can always go to the movies for a good first date. if you know the date's intrest then have him/her choose the movie. or you could always go to dinner and talk. some good conversation starters are to talk about movies, things you both enjoy, school, work, and other things that you feel comfortable talking about with your friends.

"If you had an opportunity to travel, where would you go?"
"Do you plan on going to college? If so, what would you like to do?"
"What's your favorite holiday and how do you celebrate it?"

You get the idea. And go somewhere where you can talk, not the movies.
