Cool.. you have your belly pierced already.. I suggest you get the lower part of your belly pierced or a cute tattoo on hip just as long as you have parental consent... =)

what's the point at 14? You know that whatever tattoo you get you're going to regret, but not just when you're old, your mind changes all the time when you're at that age mine still does now, so you'll probably regret it in a year or so.
If you're craving a specific tattoo then it wouldn't be as bad, but if you don't even know what tattoo you want then why bother until you've known what you want for a while?
And yes a tattoo would be painful on your hip, the less fleshy the area, the more painful.
I wouldn't advise any for a while, but if you must then please get a piercing! Septum piercings are good because they don't leave visible scars - but I wouldn't advise if you're worried about the pain. Or you could go for your top ear or something. Most facial piercings get caught a lot and become a pain.

Don't. You're 14. Tattoos and piercing a aren't something kids your age should have. You're still a child. I have piercings. I'm 21. I had to wait until 18. And my kids will have to do the same thing. Your mom is right. And your one point wasnt justified. 13 is too young but 14 isn't? No. Just wait. There were things I wanted at your age that I wouldn't now. I liked Britney Spears then. And my hair in middle school? Regrettable. Just be a kid. Don't be in a rush to grow up. Young people nowadays grow up way too fast.

no respectible tattoo artist or piercer will modify you even with consent from a guardian. Why dont you do yourself a favor and grow up a little bit first. Your body is still growing at 14 and if you get a tattoo it will become distorted and a piercing has a higher failure rate at that age. Just get money for your birthday and save up and get a bag, shirt, or shoes that no one has. This is a much better and safer style statement.
I have had almost EVERYTHING you can think of pierced, the 14g industrial at the top of my ear actually hurt the most for me. It took the longest to heal as well.

I think what scares me the most about reading questions like yours is how casual body modification has become...like you're deciding what shirt to wear or something. Don't get me wrong, I dig body mods and have 7 tatttoos with several more already drawn up and scheduled (next one in a week actually) and a piercing but nothing I've ever done to my body was ever influenced by anyone else or anyone else's suggestions. Don't do it just to do it. Do it because you dig it and what you have done, either tattoo or piercing is something that you like & that looks good to you and enhances your sense of self and image. All you have right now is some vague notion that you want something, absolutely not the frame of mind to be in when altering your body. Piercings will close and heal, tattoos are something else entirely and not nearly so easy to cast aside. Now I'm also not saying that any tattoo you might happen to want should reflect some secret of life or have some life defining meaning for you. If you can come up with an image that symbolizes something significant for you...great but not an iron-clad rule stenciled in blood on the wall of the temple of tattoos like you might think if you watch Miami Ink and have no other exposure to the tattoo sub-culture. Its enough that you like the image, although custom tattoos really are the only way to go. Take your time, you have your whole life ahead of you to change your body. Face it, we're all basically giant Mr. Potato heads walking around with different attachments, you have all the time in the world to play with them. THINK about what YOU want, and what is going to give YOU pleasure and pride and ignore the rest......its all background noise and clutter. Anything you have done to your body absolutely should only be done by professionals in reputable shops. Don't take risks and don't accept sub-par scratcher work out of a desire to rush into this. Not sure what the laws are where you live regarding underage tattoos but most places its 16 with parental consent.

You should get your eyebrow or nose pierced, or your ear cartilage. Those are cool.
But don't get a tattoo just yet. You probably don't want to hear this, but you're just 14, and your tastes might really change between now and adulthood, or even between now and next year. But you might be stuck with a tattoo that you thought was cool, but a year from now you hate.

At 14 you aren't legal to get a tattoo. A parent has to go with you and sign papers, show ID, birth certificate, etc. Unless you are going to someone who does them illegally, then you risk the chance of it coming out like crap, getting infected, etc. Wait until you are 18, you can do it legally, and you'll be more mature to make a better decision.

You shouldn't get anything else. Tattoo are permanent and you are much too young to pick one you'll like for a couple years, let alone the rest of your life. And whoever suggested a clit piercing to you - Don't listen!!! They obivously forgot how young you are. Just enjoy being young and get a new outfit or something for your birthday!!!

I'd say wait until you figure out what you want. Tats don't hurt, they feel like an elongated cat scratch at times. As for piercings, it depends on what kind of ears/nose/face you have what will look best. Def wait until you are sure about what you want before you put money in it!

I got an industrial done. So it's two piercings in the sitting one after another. It hurt horrible, and swelled. Also my body started to push it out so i had to take it out. I wouldn't suggest it.
