My attitude is: nothing ventured, nothing gained. What's the worst she can tell you? "Sorry, I'm not interested," right? Just because she's physically close to a girlfriend doesn't mean they're lesbian either, women are generally more physically demonstrative with affection than men are. Although she does seem a little over the top--but you'll never know if you don't ask her, so ask her! :-) Good luck!

That doesn't mean she's a lesbian. Women are more affectionate and way more comfortable with each other than men. If you see a group of girls in the bar they are probably dancing with each other or holding hands to walk to the bar so they don't get separated. It's cool ask her out.

Ask her out. The worst she can do is say no. Displays of affection between girls aren't always a sign of lesbianisim. There is a lot more affection shown between friends these days, than there was when I was a teen.

Ask her out for coffe when you can and see what she says but if you two grab coffee make sure you are the only one in her life if it goes somewhere. Ask her about her touchy feely freind in a non-chalant way!!

Hon, girls do this, it doesn't mean a thing. Girls are not guys, they are more emotionally and physically attached to their friends, but that doesn't mean she's a Lesbian. Ask her out, if she wants to go out, then that should answer your questions.

I hold my friends hands, and hug them when I see them. So does that make me a lesbian? I think not. If she was a lesbian, and she didnt want you, she wouldnt tell you she wants you.
Go for it!

There is no such thing as a "potential lesbian." I think you might mean a "possible" lesbian. If she's into girls you don't stand a chance.

You can wait until she's alone, then just ask her to do something innocent, like grab a coffee.
Her response should then guide you whether to pursue her or not.

girls are close like that. she may not be a lesbo at all. however, thats not to say she would not or has not been with a chick. if she like guys then go for it. dont prejudge too much. that friend of hers may be closer to her than a sister.

When in doubt, ask! See if she wants to go out with you. Maybe her and her gf need a man.
