My boyfriend, told me that he considers a certain girl i know pretty and attractive. Now i know that there is nothing wrong in saying that, because I also may find someone attractive and it doesnt mean anything. The thing is, I got angry at him because I dont find that girl pretty! She is not ugly but I dont see her as anything special and i hate it because she is acting like a girly flirty barbie doll! I am not like that. I see my self as a woman and a lady and I am down to earth. How can I guy who is with me, find a girl like that attractive!!??? Am i wrong in thinking less of him? Is he unfit to be with me? (instead If I found the girl attractive as well i wouldnt really mind him saying that, isnt it weird?)

Guys like girls can like different types of girls and boys. I can understand why this can upset you. It is normal, if you love him and you are concerned that he may choose another over you. It is even worse if you think the other girl is not even worth it!
Talk to him, tell him why that has upset you and ask him to explain this to you.
If he chose to be with you however means that he prefers girls like you and not girls like her, right?

Okay, you gotta stop being completely selfish and naive. What's pretty to one person isn't pretty to the next. We're all different, as you can clearly see. Just because he's with you doesn't mean he likes all the same things you do and shares every single thought and desire with you. That doesn't make any sense, and you know that as well. Who gives a crap whether or not she's pretty? What's the point? Our view on how this girl looks doesn't tell us anything about who she is. Who are we to base her on her appearance in the first place? Are we that girl? No. You're with your boyfriend because you care about him. Why are you judging his character on his personal preferences on the layout of human flesh? If you're gonna continue to do that and think less of him because you like a different color than he does, then please don't waste your boyfriend's time. I'm not purposely being blunt and mean about this, but this is ridiculous and needs to stop. I don't care if your friend looks like a zebra. He may think zebras are pretty if he wants to; that's not your choice.

I'm guessing there are plenty of things you two don't have in common. Do you like all the same music, food, colours etc? It's unlikely. So he thinks someone is attractive and you don't. Not a big deal, despite the fact that you're acting like it is. Be careful or your anger may render you rather ugly in his eyes.

you are angry because you are insecure and you think he'll dump you for a barbie doll.
Of course, acting like this almost guarantees he'll leave you for someone else.
Realize that not everybody has the same tastes and likes or dislikes. But if you require your boyfriends to think the exact same as you, you'd better let him go and find someone else.

No it's not weird. It just shows how immature you are. One day you will realize that guys like different types of girls, not just one type. One day, hopefully, you will find a trusting, honest, supportive relationship in which you feel secure and can be less controlling in.

he only finds her attractive a bit because she isnt like you at all it doesnt mean he wants her its just something different like grass is greener but everyone knows its not really

You should ask your self why are you so upset. If he loves you what difference does it make? Do you love him?
