...your gf mentions how hot this certain guy is? and she comments on guys that they're handsome on myspace?

It deends on who it is and how the comment comes about. If we're talking about an ex-lover she just reconnected with on MySpace and "Wow, he's sure taken care of himself... maybe I made the wrong choice," then heck yeah, I'd be jealous... jealous enough to hit the gym and get myself back into better shape.

Or if she's clicking links with pictures saying, "Wow, he's cute, I wonder what he's like," then that's a bit over the edge. I'd think she was looking for someone else (because the only reason I would do it is to look for someone else) and that would bother me.

But if she's looking at her best friend's MySpace page and clicks to see what her new boyfriend's page is like, and lo-and-behold there's a picture of him, and he happens to be a handsome man, I would hope she would have the confidence to say so, rather than hiding it from me and pretending that he isn't. And the same kind of thing goes for looking at pictures of movie stars or whatever: if she finds them attractive, I hope she can say so. If she finds a picture of one that she finds attractive, I hope she doesn't feel the need to hide it from me.

no....it's not called jealous its called insecure. My gf coments on guys and I dont get jealous on bit, shes with ME not them. Just like I comment on if a girl is hot either on tv or in a magazine. If you want a healthy relationship then you need to be more open with each other.

I wouldn't be jealous, but there wouldn't be any point in commenting about those things. Aside from that, if you're with your boyfriend because he's hot, then I'd say there's also no point in that.

I thinks so, i mean its a way of getting a reaction to see how much you like them, if your annoyed they know you like them and if you dont react at all they know your not really interested in them like that, its a way of testing the water without saying anything that might involve a conversation that discusses how they feel! but then again, sometimes people just speak before they think, he might not of meant anything at all by that, it was just a throw away thought less comment... i so often here people say "oh my god i love..." and its always something ridiculous like crisps or pegs! they dont actually love pegs! theyre just emphasizing an otherwise bland topic of conversation or point.

Most guys would be most guys are idiots. I wouldn't be. First, it shows that you trust my opinion and know that I trust you. Second, are guys the only ones who can look at the opposite sex? I think not. I want my sexual relationship to be just that and we all get stimulation from outside sources.
