I saw this as part of an answer, and was just wondering what you guys think.

I thought it was god getting drunk that caused the flood of Noah.
I'll never figure this out.

The last time I got drunk, I was mad at my wife. She'd complained that I was losing weight in all the wrong places to one of her friends. No God had a thing to do with it. Actually, I seldom even come close to being drunk--I drink maybe once or twice a month, and then lightly.

Getting drunk when your mad doesn't help solve problems. I know this! Being mad at someone and not getting to the root as to why your mad will have a snow ball effect, the anger doesn't end.
Using drugs, and alcohol will make things seem worse than they really are.

so much sadness in this world can make anybody drink.
I never got mad at god per say but the lack of my healing only saddened me.
We are only flesh and blood after all.
I think most people get angry at god whether they be christian or non-christian.
I mean like, even you must have cursed him one day after seeing so much suffering.
Everybody throws their hands up in the air once in awhile.

That would be silly. God created everything. If you're mad at the Creator, why drink something He created for us to drink?
That would be the same as me being mad at a Coca Cola bottle, and then start drinking Coca Cola in cans.

I'd say that people get drunk on a regular basis when God is not an active part of their lives, but not necessarily as a result of their anger with Him.
And that's not to say that everyone that doesn't make God an active part of their lives is an alcoholic.

Some may. I did not. When I lost my newborn daughter at birth I was indeed angry with God. I yelled at Him, Cried to Him, and even threw my Rosary against a wall shattering it. I am not proud of how I acted but that is how I acted. We do all get angry from time to time. I am so glad He forgives.

People get drunk for many reasons. That could easily be one. Usually, it's when they cannot accept things for what they are....

I am sure some people do. Like when something bad happens and they blame god for it and then drink to kill the pain.
