I already have one hole that I had done when I was 17 (I'm now 23). I'm considering getting a second hole when I go out of town with a friend in a few weeks. I'm wondering if anyone has ever gotten a second hole and regretted it. I'm thinking that I'll regret getting that second hole less than if I get a tattoo.
Also, does anyone know any good places that do tattooing and ear peircing in Charlotte, NC? Thanks!

Also, can someone remind me of any post-peircing pain? I work as a receptionist, and am on the phone a lot--will a second hole get in the way?

The Carolina Place Mall has good piercing! Go into Claires in the mall. Anyways I got a second hole when I turned 15 and i love having a secong hole, im getting a third on maybe this summer. You wont regret it at all. And if you dont want it after a long time and you really regret it then let it close up(only if you really want it gone!)

I had the cartilage of my ear pierced (one side only) when I turned 18 and it hurt really bad. Later when I was 22 or 23 I had 2nd holes put in next to my regular holes and I still have them 6 yrs later. It looks cute with studs in the 2nd holes and hoops or dangly earrings in the 1st ones. I don't see how it could be worse than a tattoo.....they require laser surgery to remove while you can take a piercing out, let grow together and no one would ever know.

Go for it! It's a lot less permanent than getting a tattoo. I've had my first hole sinve i was about 9 and got the second done sometime in my early teens(don't remember exactly when). Even though I hardly wear anything in the second, I don't regret getting it done. So go ahead and get it done. If in the future you decide you don't want it, don't wear anything in them and it's a possiblilty the hole will heal and close.

My friend got another hole n I envied her so much cuz it looked so cool. But she said that it was painful... Try Claire's, they do it for free, I think! DON'T GET A TATTOO! Bleieve me, u will probably regret it!

i`m all about piercing, so i say go for it!!! i have 14 total, of which i have 7 in my left ear & 3 in my right...it doesn`t hurt bad at all & i don`t think it will be painful when u use the phone, maybe just a little uncomfortable for a few weeks til it starts healing...
