have you lost count of the number of times christians have told you that god is going to strike you down with lightning? i know i have.

I'm a Taoist (essentially non-theistic) and oftern speak out against the tyranny of "God" in it's many forms. I usually get told I'm going to hell. My response is usually "Hell doesn't exist". I think I've got the lighting a few times and well once it struck my house and ruined all my electronics but I was a Christian then. Go figure.

I've never been told that, but I have been threatened. It's quite amazing how some Christians can work "I hope somebody cuts your throat" and "Jesus love you" into the same paragraph.

That's interesting...I have been a christian for 11 years and I have never once said that to anyone....actually I have never heard any christian say that to anyone... where are you from anyway?
