the opitician said my friend had a shadow around the macula in his eye,but had to look up his notes to see if it was there at his last app.while he was waiting he went to see his dr. who sent him to casualty, the dr. there said it was a" dried haemorrage" and may have been there since birth,and that it was no harm.his eyesight is ok and he has clear vision.also the optician got back to my friend and told him that it was not there before,but was making an app. for him to see an opthalmic surgeon to reassure him.he lifts weights and cycles.he also uses "cleo "on his face.has any one any information about this ,as he is very nervous that he has damaged his eye.

It is a floating broken vessel in the eye and it harmless.

He should see the ophthalmic surgeon. It could be a detached retina and could potentially cause blindness at the worst scenario
