I give thanks to my Creator for the sun in the morning , the stars and moon at night. I care for Her Earth and His creatures. I keep peace inside and try never to harm another living thing, no matter how small. I draw Energy (Life/God) into myself and use it to help those who would like to be helped. I am my own priestess. God is the Air I breathe, the rain that falls, every leaf on every tree. There is nothing anywhere in the Universe that God is not. I have no need to argue this point with anyone. It is just something that I feel within me. Don't believe. Don't have faith. Feel your God.

Okay, I have to give you what might be an unexpected answer. But please just consider what it is that I say as being a taught viable meaning, and not some kind of bullshit.
I practice faith as a normal part of life. I have been taught the root meanings of the word and realize that it is not only part of religious life, but also a part of life in general.
Faith can be defined as an action, based upon belief, sustained by confidence. We apply faith without really thinkig about it. An example: I can go to my car keys in the morning in faith that those are the keys that will start my car. I don't have to wonder if those are the right keys, and that the nature of the keys didn't change so much that the car would no longer start with those keys, and that the car would start-- I got ready to go somewhere in the car and that the car would be there when I walked to it. I carry what I think I will need to use when I get to where I am going, because I am not questioning the validity of the sequence of events from happening, for it's been happening in that manner for all these years.
That's faith in action. It's non religious, and it's a part of daily life. I cannot operate normally unless I apply it.
"Do you talk to your higher power ??"
Yes. Prayer is actually an act of faith. Jesus said to pray, and so I pray but there is also the reason to pray; It keeps me in touch with God so that I can remain close to him.
"other suggestions ?? "
If the Biblical Greek is studied, Faith is either something done in 'trust' of something in God's direction, or not in God's direction. There is no neutral ground in the biblical Greek. Trust in something not in God's direction is like what I described above. It is not inherently evil, it's the way we have relationships with the things around us. Everything from putting our feet on the floor, to getting dressed in the morning are relationships to the things around us, and do not typically require faith in God's direction.
Example of faith in God's direction would be to talk to God ( prayer) , to fast ( showing God that you are willing to lean on him, and that you trust him to give you strength during the weakness that one might feel from taking in no other nourishment other than his ability to hold you up) . And finally to look into his word and pulling out a promise making it your own. When I do that I am trusting him for something that he said he would do, the promise can be simple and it focuses the believer on to a specific ideology," The Lord is trustworthy, and He always fulfills his word."

YOU SWORE! I'm telling~ jk.
Ironically, I just answered a question saying "I prefer faithful".
Now faith, a tricky word, is different to people. But in my life, even as a child, I always knew God was there. I could "feel" Him and the presence of a greater being, teaching me right from wrong. Guiding me here or there for this purpose, or that learning experience, and here I am 20 years later, with a happy son, a wonderful man as a provider, and a happy family to make memories with for my new small family! The cycle of life my friend, is a wonderful mysterious thing, but the one thing faithful people have in common is - THEY JUST BELIEVE! To practice? I say good morning and thank you for my daily bread. When I am laughing or having a good time with my loved ones, I silently thank God for my life & the company He has sent me. To be faithful is to be thankful. I trust His silent urges & "messages" (like don't go that way etc) and always pursue to help & to be humble & charitable. I try not to be judgemental, but that is difficult, but I try. Lord knows I try. I don't talk to Him so much as ~~~ am aware of His omnipresence when I am thinking. But just for the record ~I WOULD NEVER SUBSCRIBE TO A RELIGION THAT CLAIMS THEY ARE THE ONE RELIGION AND ALL ELSE WILL SUFFER~that is not what God is about, I think anyways.

I live..... therefore my faith is practiced everyday and all the time, in a world such as this one, I would think everyone practices their faith in some way or another. I always have something to say to the higher power, sometimes out loud and then sometimes quietly to myself. My only suggestion about Faith {in all terms} is "only put out what you except to receive in return, and know that what goes around really does come around". I have seen it happen....many times,on my faith. Hope this helps!!!

I read my meditations in the morning, ask my HP to help me through the day....try and remember that "love and tolerance is our code"
Pray not for selfish means, but for gods will and what i can do to help others.
Doing the "Next right thing..." whatever that may be...when in indecision i ask for an answer or an intuitive thought and then let it go, trusting that the answer will come.
Accept the fact that there is a God and its Not Me!
Let my children know that there are many different beliefs out there, but only one God...and anyway they choose to get to that space where they can feel comfortable with their God is ok...as long as it isnt hurting themselves or others....
Live one day at a time, and say thank you for another day at night.
Hope this helps
Blessed Be

Faith in the creator God is the only faith that matters. The good of being a faithful person, but not a believer in God Almighty, will cause you to be blessed here on earth, and it will bless the lives of others, but it won't lead to eternal life.
Faith in God comes at the same time as repentance of sin. Repentance is the act of turning away from sin and turning to God. It requires being broken and if we haven't come to the point where we are so disgusted with our sin because of what it's brought into our lives then we need to fall face down on the floor and cry out to God to cause us to know what it means to be broken and put back together in his image. It's a daily brokeness also as we are cleansed from our old ways and sanctified by the blood of Jesus, which takes away our sin.
Prayer, reading and studying the word of God, the King James bible, fasting, fellowshipping with like-minded believers, and listening to preaching by a man of God who knows what the bible says about the days that we are living in now is walking in the light which faith causes to shine in our lives.
God has given us power over the enemy and his territory. The internet has become a place that God has used to bring his children together in. We have a chat room called Beware the Pale Horse Audio Room, on a chat forum that the community guidelines probably prohibit me from disclosing the name of, where all who love the truth are welcome to come and listen to preaching and fellowship with like-minded believers. It's a well known chat forum and wouldn't be hard to find.

This may be a BS answer, as you so put it, yet I am obliged to do so. Faith = a gift from God. How do I practice this? I suppose having a new heart that is inclined to the things of God affords me the opportunity to do good. Prior to my regeneration, even the "good" I thought I was doing was stained with the sin of selfish motives. So, I suppose practicing faith is submitting to what you believe the will of God to be.

I feel just appreciating the natural world, and communing with nature fits for me. I don't really talk to a higher power, even though I do believe in a divine power. I feel communing with nature is sort of enough, since deity is what, in my belief, gives everything life. I also do ritual.

I had a great bull"""" answer, but to respond seriously, I think in the spiritual realm the only meaningful way is doing good works. I believe that's what really counts with God. Other areas, we use faith in everything we do. It takes faith to walk out the door in the morning.
