"The Monstrous Regiment of Women, The Gunn brother’s second documentary, goes all out to demolish the feminist worldview. From a consistently Christian perspective, they show how feminism has had a devastating impact on the church, state, and family.
Starting with the infamous 16th century essay written by the reformer John Knox against the reigning female monarch, the Gunn Brothers find plenty of application to America’s political landscape; where feminists vie for every possible office including the presidency.

You’ll hear from both sides of the argument as you visit a Feminist Convention, a Rock for Choice concert and a Planned Parenthood youth event. Featuring an all star, all female cast, the Gunn Brothers prove that feminism has in fact restricted choices for all women, brought heartache to the lives of many, and perpetuated the largest holocaust since the beginning of time."

I don't have it with me, but Pat Robertson said something about feminism's real objective is to turn women into serial abortioners and lesbians. I'll add the quote later when I get in to work.

I fail to see how women being included in the category of 'humans' and 'people' can have a serious detrimental effect on anything except the wish of some to keep us as servants and helpmeets.

In my family, the grandparents watch the kids while I'm at work. This has brought our family closer together and ensured the inclusion of some very important people in their lives. I still do the majority of the day-to-day housework that my cleaning service doesn't include, but my husband makes more money and he pays more of the bills, leaving me with ample disposable income in addition to our savings and investments. Things look pretty good from where I stand.

I have yet to see any reason to not consider myself a 'human' and a 'person' with rights, who works hard and has some fun.

Incidently, 'Elizabeth' is one of my favorite movies.

Many religious traditions, including Islam and Christianity, have a stake in shouting down modern feminism, even if they reluctantly admit first and second wave feminism (giving women equal voting and legal rights).

Many people draw the line at women being the cultural equals of men, which is what feminists today combat.

You can tell right off that the film is flawed if it refers to abortion as a "holocaust."

The one thing I personally hate about being a woman is, when you try to empower yourself and be equal, it's considered by (lets face it) old white men to be against God, against the nation, and bad for families. It's sickening this mindset even continues in the country. Yet, you still get women who say "Isn't it great to be totally equal?" without the faintest clue that they're really not...

Heartache to the lives of many?? Oh, I guess that's because Mom had to go work three jobs to support her kids after their father went out for smokes 12 years ago and hasn't been home since. And little Bobby feels neglected.... aw. Why does feminism get the blame, but the men who leave women in these situations, and basically caused the feminist movement, get no blame at all? Grr.... it makes me puke.

Personally, there are some things that are just non-negotiable. Islam might be the right way, I don't know, but I will never cover my head, whether God says to or not, because it places all of the responsibility of modesty on the woman, not the man. I will never support polygamy because it is not necessary in this modern age.

In the end, we choose the life we wish to live. You can choose to be oppressed or not.

The Gunn brothers have chosen to view a pessimistic world. I choose to focus on the opportunities.
