flu is a respiratory disease caused by influenza virus type A or B. the first thing u should consider is that antibiotics have no effect on the disease process and it is only for prevention of secondary bacterial infections. 2) drink too much fruit juice and water.3) stay in bed.4)eat fruits that have too much vitamin C like orange and pineapple. 5)the only viral drug that effects flu is amantadine and some says it is a protective drug than a drug for cure.6) try to moisturize ur environment. breath in moisturized air.

- rest a lot; don't go to work or school
- drink plenty of fluids
- eat if you feel like it, but if you are not hungry, then it's okay not to eat much for a couple of days
- take tylenol or ibuprofen for the pain/fever/muscle aches
You'll feel better in a few days. If you have real flu (influenza) it might be 10 days before you feel better.
