I had one the other night and felt like the life was being drawn out of me, went white, trembled, panic, lost muscle tone, cold sweat, fear and pain in stomach (which I think brought it on)....

You can pass out cold but no, it wouldn't kill you...you just think you are dying...it is brought on by being too hot and drinking something ice cold or getting into too hot a shower, any violent temperature change.

No, it can't kill you. Nothing bad happens to your brain or heart or anything.
The only danger would be if you fell and hit your head on something, or if you were driving when it happened.
But in and of itself, no, a vasovagal episode does not cause death.
