OK, I know what you are saying.
Let Love be.
Here is my personal side.
I don't want to be the jilted lover here but here goes...
I met her back in September 06, and we hit it off. We enjoyed each others company and we even got physical. Things seemed great.
After a few weeks I dropped by her house to say "hello" after work because I wanted to see her. She misunderstood that for stalking or something to that effect. (her words)
So for a little while afterward she became distant but still kept contact, still hugged and shared a kiss on the cheek.
And I know that the guy (60ish) works with her and they became friends well after I met her, and I know that hers words exactly she said hes like a father to her.
I know I made a mistake and probably over stepped my boundaries and what have you but I don't know how to fix what i have done..
I admit to you all and I even confessed to her that I love her and care about her and want to be with her, amidst the current situation.

.She told you what was happening. He is a father figure to her which is what some people want in a relationship.

It sounds as if you moved to fast for her and frightened her. If she is looking for a father figure that was the worse thing you could have done.

I suggest you put that package back on the shelf and open another.

I can tell you without hesitation: It's because older men are more often than not, less pushy and clumsy. Rarely do you have older men being arrested for bar fights, spousal abuse, unecessarily beating their children or kicking down a lover's door because they thought they heard a moan coming from the other side! And, older men are more stable, usually having a little extra cash from investments when they were younger and more cool toys and connections to enjoy life. Young guys are still in the learning process; they tend to run rampant like a bull in a china shop, and so chase women away...the 'badboy' veneer only takes you so far, then you have to show REAL cool, not just occassional patience

She may have some issues but having sex with 20ish year old males is not all it is cracked up to be. I was 20, I am not 60 but I have way more experience than I did then and now sex can last for hours instead of minutes. Money make a lot of things easier also.

I think that she accused you of "stalking" her, because she is afraid that you might innocently drop by unannounced and "catch" her having sex with her 60 year old friend. I don't mean to be cruel, but don't be naive. She is seeing other guys behind your back.

When you told her that you loved her, of course she became more distant. If she does not love you back, then what you said sounds manipulative & made her nervous. She is sleeping with other guys.

Find yourself a new girl.

---------edit-----

What does she see in him? Who knows? She is a freak, and you need to stop worring about how to win her back. Move on with your life and find a better girl.

I am going with the money and security thing as well as an older man being more attentive - he just might be beating your time. Is there anything else this 60ish gentleman can offer that you feel threatened by? God Bless.

Er...you're telling me she's 22 and she has an affair with a 60 years old man??? Eeeeeeewwwwwwwwww!!! Other than DISGUSTING, there isn't much I can say.....It must be because of MONEY. And if so, MOVE ON! You made no mistake man!!! WHY are you blaming yourself??? Passing by to say hi to your gf is NOT stalking!!!! If she reacted like that it means she was HIDING something, her relationship with this old man must have been already going on by then...she's not worth man, move on.

She is looking for a father figure, the fatherly type. It will not last, believe me, I have been there and women always tire of it and want some fun sooner or later (with people their own age)
She will become an old lady before her time, soon enough

this is a safe way of the girl showing you she has a male friend even if he is 60 ish. the older guy will treat her like a princess wine and dine her and generally have some ood company. from her point of view the commitment for a lasting relationship is unlikely. remember he maybe be even older than her parents.....

.......one of two things........
His money
Her emotional need for a father figure

this young gal wants to be taken care of...on an arrested development level. She sounds immature and selfish.
Yet at 22 she does have ALOT of growing up to do......
If I were you I would not try to "fix"anything. I would just walk away. You'll be wasting your time and energy. There are other fish in the sea............
