Call the state Attorney general's office and ask for a written opinion.

I sure hope you've learned your lesson and see the value of obeying the law now.

Write an email to the ATF describing this situation and print and save their reply:

Hi-points are cheap. They may be fun for a while, but cheap always disappoints in the end.

Get a Marlin 60 or ruger 10/22 .22 rifle and you will shoot a lot more and never be disatisfied.

I'd go visit the county attorney's office. They should be able to tell you if you're a go or no-go on gun buying.

Also, don't buy the hi-point. They SUCK! Just spend another $100 and get a Beretta.

I can offer no leagle advise but on guns my advise will be very good. By all means stick to Ruger products they are the worlds best hands down.

Depends on state law if things get erased. I'd call lawyer who deals in these cases first.

Yes you can buy a gun, but stay away from Highpoint, they are cheap and the firing pins break often!
