My three-year-old loves the temporary tattoos, and currently has about five of them on various parts of his body, which doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that he's had several baths since getting them, and the stupid things aren't coming off. I'm afraid his preschool teacher is going to think I'm not bathing the kid.

I had no idea these things would be so hard to remove.

I'll try the rubbing alcohol. Thanks. I threw the paper backing away after we applied them, so I didn't have that to tell me how to get them off.

They use one of the scrubby things in the bathtub, but I will not scratch my child to get the tattoo off. If it's between scratching him or letting them stay put, he can keep Spider-man, Dora, Elmo and Thomas the Tank Engine all over his body for all I care.

A little bit of rubbing alcohol will take them right off.

On the packeging for the removable tatoo's there are instructions on how to remove them. I think that it involves rubbing them off gentally with babby or rubbing oil though I am not sure. You could also try rubbing alcohal on a cotton swab.

If rubbing alcohol doesn't work you can try a body scrub. If he uses them often I would buy a scrubbing body wash just for this use. Using alcohol often can dry the skin out and cause irritation to the area if use frequently. My son freaks out if I try to remove his with alcohol because he knows alcohol burns when used to clean cuts so I use a tad bit of my mircoderabrasion scrub to get his off.

Um what you can do is get a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol that should work, Also on the back of the tattoo the paper part that you take of it should tell you what to use!

Good Luck

Relax, back in the day temp. tattoos only lasted one bath. But today's temp tats can last literally weeks. My kids put them on all the time.

I doubt his teachers think that he's not clean. But yes rubbing alcohol will help remove them.
