Because unlike Christianity, Islam has not been dragged kicking and screaming into the light by secularlism. The difference in Islamic countries and Christian countries is not a difference in religion since many of the same hateful, bigoted and divisive things are found in both religions. I mean, I dare someone to tell me how the Old Testament is somehow worse than the Quran in terms of its moral message or the brutal nature of its commands. We're only a few hundred years removed from a time when Christians were killing people en masse for not being Christian. Also, its strange that many of the same people who will abhor a Muslim country executing a non-Muslim believe that all non-Christians go to hell for not accepting Jesus. I don't get that part. Typically, Christianity is tempered by rationality thanks to secular influences. When it says "thou shall not suffer a witch to live", there's nothing in Christianity that says you shouldn't do it. However, thanks to secular morality, they are able to justify why that's wrong. @NDMA No, actually, the fact that children OVERWHELMINGLY take up the religion of their parents proves that what religion you are is almost entirely based on how you were raised. If YOUR assertion were true, then there would be just as much Christians or Muslims or any other religion (percentage wise) as anywhere else. You wouldn't have countries that are 99% Muslim like Iran or 85% Christian like the United States. Epic logic fail. But then again..you have an imaginary friend, so it's not really surprising that logic is not your strong suit.

1. The divinity of Jesus
2. His crucifixion and resurrection.
3. The concept of God as a warrior God instead of a loving and merciful father.
4. Original sin
5.The Holy Trinity
6. Salvation was achieved by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus.
7. Our fallen nature
