The inevitable arrival of an extra terrestrial race will throw many theories manifested from the minds of human beings into question. If these new arrivals don't believe in our version of the religious views of the 'birth of man' and show us humans how we were really created, will this not throw into question the whole aspect of all religion?

Such an unlikely scenario would like cause many people to lash out against the vistors as demons or what not. There will be enough panic and confusion without them questioning human superstition as well.

This is one of the biggest questions to think about, what will happen when extra-terrestrials do land on our planet or if we find them first. Not only religion, all our other theories about science, nature etc. and our own inventions will be taken to the test.

However, you know that there are so many different kinds of religion but only one can be true. Maybe Christianity is a true religion, from a freely point of view, but it has been extinct from other planets in course of time, so the 'aliens' don't know about it. Maybe its Islam, Hinduism, Buddism. But the faith in your heart is the real test, how much affected your belief is hearing about contradictory statements and all that allegations about your religion. If your faith is strong, it cannot be disproved as a fallacy.

When I was young, I watched the moon-landing at a neighbor's house. They were fanaticly fundamental in their beliefs, and were sure that it couldn't happen. They watched intently, at what they didn't believe. To this day, they deny it happened, with even more fervor.

It sounds like you 'believe' in aliens. How strong are your beliefs? If you saw Jesus coming down on a cloud, would that through into question the whole aspect of your expectations?

What's the difference, between an alien, and an angel?

No - it will merely change what our religious beliefs are.

I honestly think a lot of the religions we take for granted nowadays may have been created by the interaction of mankind with extraterrestrial or extra-dimensional beings in the past.

If you look at religious artwork, all the symbolism is there. It shows people with wings. Perhaps the wings weren't literal, but rather a symbol of something being in flight?

Furthermore, it showed entities with little circles around their heads [halos]. What equipment does NASA use that may be depicted this way?

World Governments use religion to help control their people. They will deny that contact has been made with intelligent life from other planets. That's why the 1947 incident in Roswell was originally called a flying saucer and then changed to a weather balloon. Every year World Governments receive approx. 1000 UFO reports from reliable Military and Airline Pilots, but the public rarely hears about them.

You go walking around your neighborhood with red eyes! ETs from Saturn are here for the "planetary occlusion". What does that have to do with human religions?

The creation stories about the origins of each tribe, race or group don't include the landing of people from Saturn who get up in your face and make you do things with red eyes that you wouldn't do with your regular eyes.

Eye doctors will start getting more business as the humans' eye sockets are deteriorated.

What if the aliens foist their religion on us like the Christians did in the New World?

Not the ones that teach humans were planted here by aliens and the god was a UFO.

"The inevitable arrival of an extra terrestrial race "

That's about as big an assumption as invisible sky daddies.

No, all the cults (especially Scientology) would jump on this opportunity as proof of their belief.
