What is ur thought pattern during the whole day? Like how do u think and what do u do when u wake up...For eg "I wake up and feel that its time to pray so I pray and keep thinking while I pray that I have to think about what Im saying, after prayer I start my day to do good deeds............................................................(till) before falling asleep at night I ask Allah to forgive my soul if he has decided to give death to me forgive and grant health to it if u wish to restore it in my body".

I would be highly grateful to all. I just want to see where Im going wrong and how a Muslim is ought to feel during the day...plzplz plz help!!

1. Thank Allah for every blessing especially for those that others do not have!

2. Do not yearn for the pleasures that other people have!

3. When someone criticizes you, accept his criticism and do not stickle or deny it while you know your state well! I do not mean that you should acknowledge whatever people tell you even if it is not true, but I mean that you have to accustom yourself to accept criticism from others and not to attack the advisors. The very acceptance of criticism and gratitude to a criticizer is a high moral value. In other words, you have to accustom yourself to accept criticism while indifferent to whether or not it is true because this is a civil feature and a practical invitation to reject violence and dictatorship which are the causes of most of our misfortunes.

4. Take lessons from your mistakes!

5. Adapt yourself to every problem you face! Accommodation is a successful way to get rid of problems or to limit their destructive effects.

6. Try to be truthful to yourself and kind to others, for a double-faced person is unsuccessful!

7. Offer your love, kindness, and help to even those who do not offer such things to you!

8. Always think of what you shall ultimately meet, whether willingly or unwillingly! I mean death and the afterlife because death divides man into two parts: one part remains in the earth until the Day of Resurrection, and the other part is sent to Heaven until the hour of Punishment.

9. Know well that the heart is a sacred sanctum; if you visit it at night and asked its Lord for your needs, He orders His angels: ‘Give him! It is I, Who have promised him, and it is I, Who carry out My promise. Have I not said, (And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way).

10. Be certain and do not forget that if man possessed the entire earth, he would be greedy to possess the heaven too, but when death comes, he finds himself with neither the earth nor the heaven! Then, for what is this greediness?

11. Always, remember the advantages of contentment and the disadvantages of greed!

12. To acquire these qualities, read about them in books and associate with those who have these qualities in their conducts!

With these points, I hope that you will arrive at your aim; and do not forget me in your prayers!

Alsalam Alikom bro/sis.
I will tell you that you are going on the right way and that's how a Muslim day should be.
And another thing you have to think about in your day is death, you should put it in your touts cause you can die any time or any moment so you should keep your prayers, forgive and give, help others ,and be generous , honest ...etc .
And when you sleep , you sleep and all your sins that you did in your day are erased by praying and praising.

Not all Muslims are the same. Everyone's thought process is different.

You shouldn't "ought" to feel any certain way. Your relationship with God is very personal and unique to you. I think what you're asking about is how to stay on straight when you pray, right? If not, forgive me.

You just need to open yourself up wholly and fully to God. Don't pray just because Allah (SWT) has told us to and the whole time you're praying Fajr you're like "God, I can't wait til I can go back to sleep!" . Pray because you love Allah (SWT) pray because it brings you peace and with time, it will. Pray even when it isn't time to pray and trust me, with time, you will miss it dearly if you stop.

God bless.

Salamu Alaiykum wa rahmutallah wa barakatu.

well i usully start the day by taking a shawer then ... pray (el fagr..or el sobh prayers)..
then start to eat and thank ALlah for giving me this food and for making me in a good health..
then i start go out to do what i got to do ... ( start say some verses (ayat) in Qur'an and azkaar al sabah....)
and start Doaa' al khorog men al manzel ( prayer or Doaaa' for getting out of ur home ).
go out live the day try as much as i can not to do wrong or say wrong to myself and to the people ..( if that happend ,, u should ask Allah for forgiveness..)
during the day each prayer(salaat) should be done in the Masged if not i try to do it alone but try not to delay it ...
when i get home i try to memorise what i have donein the day a much as i can and try to ask Allah for forgeivenss . and say some verses in Qur'an ( ayat Al korse... in Al bakaraa)

(254) Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave? He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will. His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous.

and do el tashahood( ashhadoo an la ilah ila Allah, wahdaho lah sharek lah .... wa an muhammedn rasol Allah..) ( that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammed is his messenger...
and sleep with hoping that Allah have forgive me for what i have done...

Mu only concern is to treat others as I like to be treated.. and sleep with no malice or hatered in My heart towards anyone... Before I sleep, I forgive anyone who abused me during the day.. God, I'm generous, and you'll be more generous than me.

'Salaamu alaiykum, sister.
Before my salat, I usually think only about the duas I'd like to make during prostration. The salat itself is pretty much like breathing, natural. During the day, I try to make dhikr often, practice my surahs and generally try to friendly towards the people I meet or work with.
