You aren't overweight, it sounds like you are in good proportion and what's more - perfectly healthy. Your BMI is 20.46, and that is in the healthy range - in fact, if you were to lose just half a stone, you'd be classed as underweight.
My mum does this as well, and its taken me years to figure out why. It's possible your mum has issues with her own weight and is sub-conciously a bit jealous that you are the correct weight for your height and probably look great. It doesn't mean she doesn't love you or wishes anything bad for you, she just has concerns of her own that she is reflecting onto you.
If you can, I'd tell her that you haven't put on any weight and you are finding it a bit hurtful she keeps suggesting otherwise. Go to this site - http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/healthy_living/your_weight/bmiimperial_index.shtml
print off a copy of the chart and your BMI calculation, and show her the proof once and for all.
At the end of the day - it's your body and you deserve to be happy with it. Even if you were to put on a little weight, there would be no harm in it, and you are still the same person. You are more than just how you look. Best of luck :)

Of course you aren't fat and just because your mum said it looks like you've put on weight doesn't mean you are fat! I am 5 foot 4 too and weight 9 stone 9lbs, I'm just curvy, i know that I'd look ridiculous skinny, I'm meant to be this way, I'm healthy and happy and that's the main thing. Don't get a hang up about your weight, honestly you sound anything but fat.

No way! You sound perfectly okay, just ignore your mum. I'm 29, 5'6" and about 10 and a half stone, but a size 10/12. Peoples bodies are different anyway, going just by weight I would say I'm a bit on the heavy side, but I get comments on how slim I look - who figures!? As long as you eat healthily, have some exercise - you're fine!!

It's not about weight, it's about BMI. You could be 5ft 4 and 15 stone of pure muscle - you wouldn't be "fat" but you would be heavy! Similarly, you could be small framed, 8 stone with no muscle mass and a complete lard ***!
Don't worry about it. If you're really bothered, go to a ladies gym and tone up a bit - you'll probably stay the same weight (or even gain a bit) but your shape and general tone will change.
Oh, and next time you see your mother, tell her she's looking old - see how she likes it!

With just those stats to go from you sound like you are actually at the bottom end of the scale for your size. Your BMI is 21.3. the ideal range for a healthy person is 18-25 so you are easily at the lower end. So dont worry!

I think that sounds about right for your height...maybe your mums just anxious for you like all mums...especially if there is a weight problem that runs in the family.

I think thats about right for your height. If you're seriosuly worried bout it, check ur BMI on the internet. That way you'll be able to find out what weight category you're in. I'd guess you're in the healthy category.

I haven't seen you, as far as I'm aware, so wouldn't make a judgement. To me it sounds like you're a reasonable weight for your height.
HOWEVER, just because you appear to have put on weight between sightings it doesn't mean that you have gained weight.
And in case, has your Mum suggested that you're fat?
I submit that you're worrying unnecessarily.

definetly not, if anything you could probably do with putting on a couple of pounds. Your mum is not very nice to be saying this to you, tell her you find her comments hurtful and ask her why she keeps saying it.
