My friend consumed phenol last night . what will be the effect on her health?

My friend consumed it because her father shouted at her , she consumed it last night and she said that she vomitted everything but still she says that she has that taste in her mouth . pls i want accurate answers what will be the effect in her health. But she says that she is very fine and nothing will happen to her. pls i want urgent answers.

luckily your friend got the medicine out of her by vomiting, so you don't have to worry about her overdosing . She's probably going to have that taste in her mouth for about a week. She could also have stomach irritation. she needs to see a counselor/psychologist and talk about her problems as soon as possible. This is more important than anything.

She should drink purified water and mineral water 50/50 as much as possible for the next week. This will help clean out her system.

Oh boy, I hate to hear when things like this happen. I'm sorry for your worry and for your friend. I'm sure that she will be ok, long term health wise, but the next couple of days probably won't be that great. Since she vomited her body had an intolerance for it, it often makes people sick to the point that it is usually prescribed with another medication that prevents nausea.She may be nauseous for a couple of days. The bad taste in her mouth is probably caused by her stomach acids being upset and should go away soon.
I don't know near enough about your friends situation to say much, but I think that if she is that quick to react so extremely if you could talk her into talking to someone, it would be very beneficial.
