I Know exactly how you feel Laz, reading on the Toilet is OK with me, especially to get away from the kids for a much needed few moments!

it gets so bad sometimes i considering taking a TV, Radio and even eat my meals in there, stick with it Laz one day they will move out and you can have the peace you crave!

that's my dream anyway lol

Yes, definitely an escape from the kids just for a bit. Although, when I was a child I did used to play the recorder on the loo too (to avoid doing the washing up!!)

I read on the toidy at home, no where else. When the time calls for it, I toss the book or magazine on the bed outside the bathroom.

The only thing that could be bad about it is, that my legs go to sleep sometimes. That can't be good for circulation.

Viewing and reading in a toilet are two different things ;o) I don't think the toilet was meant for reading and for the purpose it was built, there was no intention for you to spend a long time in there. To get away from your kids, I think there's a better place than a toilet! This sounds like your kids are becoming the daddy.

I think reading is fundamental while on the loo. I do some of my best thinking in there. We keep magazines and catalouges under our sink, so they're within easy reach. Uncle John's bathroom readers are also great, cause they have articles and stories long and short, depending on how long you'll be in there. Plus, you'll learn something new everyday!!

Why not, as long as you don't stay too long. If it's just 10-20 minutes at the most, ok. Any longer it's best to be in a more comfortable place that smells good ;)

The only problem is that sometimes one's legs can fall asleep. Other than that, it's good to have something with which to pass the 5 minutes. Otherwise one is just sitting there staring at the wall.

I have a small shelf in there with books that I like. In fact, I can't go unless I've got something to read and if I can't get a book, I have to read the ingredients on the shampoo bottles or the squirty soap.
