The easiest and most likely the most expensive way is to take it to your dealer and tell them to install it. The other possibile way to get that is to start scouring Ebay and junkyards for a wrecked 06 Toureg that had factory nav installed and strip it out and install it in your car. Another cheaper and easier alternative is to buy an aftermarket nav system and install that. I would recommend a system made by Garmin for that due to the level of detailed info you can get from their systems.

To add nav there is a lot involved, antenna, control module, etc. some of these are in the headliner and the only way you can do it is at the dealer since there are some recoding issues. The cheapest method will be to buy an aftermarket portable unit, they are very good and probably easier to use than the vw unit

Yes, but why.. ?

1) It is expen$ive.

2) There are much better after market units that you can get that do the job and have better bells and whistles.

3) After market units are also portable. You can build in a solid place in your main car but you can also take it out into another vehicle if you need to.

Most gps units are now so compact and versitle that you should have no problem with them.

TomTom makes one that even plays your ipod thru the car radio and uses its touch screen to control it. Runs about $300
