You are absolutely correct my friend. try telling a born again christian that Jesus is Lord and not the Lord god almighty. The words banging head and against brick wall spring to mind.
The bible clearly tells us that in the name of Jesus every knee shall bend. And in revelation to John when John falls down at the angels feet the angel says' DO not do that ! ' 'All i am is a fellow slave . Worship god !!!!!
False teachings such as Jesus is god, the immortality of the soul, hell, etc. confuse people as to what the truth of god is. but hte truth of god's word and his sacred secrets are very clear as found in his word the bible.
Jesus directed all praise to his father and his father's name. Jesus role is very important in the fulfilling of god's purpose toward mankind but as his reward Jesus will rule God's kingdom before handing back the throne to his father.
Matthew 7 v 21, 22
Matthew 6v 9,10. Let your name ( jehovah ) become sactified.
read John chapter 5. you still think Jesus IS god ? You need to look again.
If jesus IS GOD, then that means God DIED and then resurrected himself. Also , IF JESUS IS GOD, then god proved loyal to himself , while on earth as a human. Not really proving anything is it then as surely god could remain faithful to himself in any trial or test. but Jesus was tested in the extreme to demonstrate his loyalty to his god, and his integrity and thus proved the devil a liar. What would be the point in god fulfilling all his promises himself? The devil would accuse him, rightly, of fulfiling all his promises himself. hardly a fair fight by god , do you not see ?

the full theology of the Incarnation and the Trinity has continuously puzzled me. i've got have been given self assurance it has puzzled easily anybody who has truthfully concept approximately it. a super variety of the quite diverse theology around it (from the 4th century) holds little interest to me. each and every of the uncooked textile is interior the present testomony, and one gets a feeling that there are confusing paradoxes in touch. The verses you cite emphasize Jesus as a guy and since the Son; others (John 8:fifty 8 & John 10:30 working occasion) emphasize Jesus's team spirit with the divine. i've got have been given self assurance that the two perspectives are in a deep adventure fairly. truthfully God isn't common for the human recommendations to allure to close, and that i doubt the apostles might have invented some element as intellectually messy like the Trinity for purposes of winning converts. i think of of this only the closest we can get to grasping it in this life. on the quite a few hand, there are aspects of the Gospels that talk plenty extra advantageous for helpful. Jesus quite rose from the ineffective, many people testified to this to the ingredient to death. and a good type of what He asks persons is as sparkling because of the fact it quite is troublesome. working occasion: Luke 10:25-37 - the forged Samaritan Matthew 18:21-22 - Forgiveness Mark 10:17-31 - finished dedication interior the now no longer probable adventure I thoroughly draw close that way of life, i visit bypass directly to attempting to comprehend the Trinity at a deeper factor. Have an invaluable day, and peace be with you. extra advantageous recommendations are on my blog (link under) in case you're curious.

Jesus is God!! He is the father, spirit, son. The Lord Jesus deserves all praise and glory, for what he did on the cross for us. He was, is, and will be Lord. Always!! There is destruction in the world because people deny Jesus.

You're right, and it was predicted to occur (2 Timothy 4:3-4). This is why the Jehovah's Witnesses don't use the cross, and don't worship anyone other than the creator. Something Jesus himself said (Luke 3:8).

However, it is through Jesus Christ that we are reconciled to God (Romans 5:10).

2 Timothy 4:3-4
For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories.

Luke 3:8
8 In reply Jesus said to him: “It is written, ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’”

Romans 5:10
For if, when we were enemies, we became reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, now that we have become reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Self Interest.

I mean if down the ages everyone said "If you do not grovel in this manner to this Jesus you will burn and suffer horribly when you die"

Strikes me that some people believe this and carry on worshipping. (What a loving religion christianity is...yeah right)

Hey Robert.

God is the Holy Trinity, three in one. That is to say, Jesus, Holy Spirit and God the Father. There is no separation between them, they have different functions, but they are one. this is difficult to grasp, but God also said we should believe like children do, without questions.

"I and the Father are one"
(John 10:30)

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
(John 14.6)

Worshipping Jesus is worshipping God..

They are one and the same. The son was created for us and only us to understand otherwise we would have no concept or grasp of the largness of God.
