Is it souls that dont rest or cant, or is satans demons just playing tricks on you.

yes i do believe in lost souls, souls that are not ready to go to their next realm

I have had some experience with otherworldly spirits. There are different kinds. There are those who have yet to receive a body, and those who will never receive their own body, and those who have already lived.
Those who will never receive their own body are very bitter and will lie and tempt and mock the rest of us. They are they who followed Lucifer when he rebelled against God in the counsels of heaven before the foundations of the Earth. I have had some experience with these. They are nasty and should be avoided. Unfortunately, they are pervasive and difficult to avoid. They can't stand to be around the truly righteous for very long, so I recommend repentance, or turning away from sin.
Those who have already lived on the Earth seldom stick around for very long. Their presence is often felt at their own funerals. There seems to be some evidence that they are occasionally slow to leave.
As for those who are waiting to come to Earth and have yet to receive earthly bodies, they are rarely manifest to us who are already in the world, except to announce their imminent arrival. I only know of a few examples where other people have had this experience.

I believe the lost souls that you are referring to are satan's demons playing as a lost soul to destract you from the truth.

Yes some so wander, or hang on to things that they had, usually it's that they are afraid to go to the light, because the light is positive and they are or were negative perhaps in their belief in life. Although they can filter through to the next dimension if guided by someone who understands the situation.
At times it Satan playing tricks, lies, Satan and his crew can be put in their place since we do have more power than they through Jesus Christ unlimited powers through God Almighty.

If they exist, they are demons. The bible says that ALL will be judged when they die. There are only Heaven and Hell to go too. So if there are ghosts they are not human and never were.
