There are many possible translations in English for ubuntu, including:
* "Humanity towards others"
* "I am because we are"
* "I am what I am because of what we all are"
* "A person 'becomes human' through other persons"
* "A person is a person because of other persons"
A popular definition of ubuntu is, "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity."[1]
I'm looking to brand a charity-linked initiative I'm setting up but wanted something that didn't also share a name with the Linux distribution.
Any language would be welcomed!
Thanks
