woman in a car on the phone took no notice going though a red light and did not see me at all,had to swueve a way from her car,what is wrong with these drivers ,i suggest we are able to report incedents and near misses on the road anyone else have problems on the roads too. silver fox

People that use mobile phones whilst driving are a danger to themselves as well as other road users, whether they be another driver or pedestrian, adult or child. These people should get an instant driving ban, not just an £80 fine and 3points on there licence.
Clearly the fine and 3points isn't enough to make them stop and think!! maybe an instant ban would.
It amazes me when you see people driving whilst chatting on their mobiles, some of them have children in the car with them!!
How irresponsible can you get? If a driver using a mobile hit them and killed or seriously injured one of their children they would be devastated and extremely angry and upset, yet they do it themselves!!
I call for an instant ban on using a mobile phone whilst driving!! for gods sake pull over before you answer your phone before you cause a serious accident.

they piss me off too.Ive been pushed out of the way too many times and had to either slam the brake or steer out of the way.Then i get next to them and i get the finger.wtf ?!?!?! then your going along at the speed limit and a guy comes out of the slow lane into the fast lane with no signal pulls in front of you and is driving 30 mph slower than you talking on the phone. cells are getting ridiculous you now see them everywhere, people go to stores and are asking someone what to buy,where its at, and if its a good price. they cant make up their own minds without the phone,being in the retail business it get frustrating when they have to call to find out what car they drive as soon as they get our help,why cant they do that before, I swear some people cant opperate on their own without a phone telling them what foot to put in front of the other when walking, if the phone looses reception the world stops until the can redial or it rings again

Because they are selfish.
as a biker it makes my blood boil with anger, their selfishness could easily cost me my life. I've lost count of the near misses i've had with peopple on mobiles not looking. You can't even have a go at them anymore or you'll get done for road rage.
