Hi,

it would seem that John (your second 'answerer') didn't quite appreciate what you were saying, but then who can blame him...he can only see things one way.(no signals, you see!)

Unfortunately the cars you describe are no longer available for all cars, by government order, now come fitted with fully functioning indicators.

The drivers you mention are specially conditioned to avoid touching the indicator switches. (Some have university degrees in 'moronship')

Of course, they do sometimes end up with people hitting them in their own vehicles because no-one has the slightest idea where they are intending to go, but they feel this is offset by the energy saved by extending a finger to flick the indicator switch.

Unfortunately for me, and you, I have been totally unable to resist letting people know when I wish to turn, so it must take many years of training to become as dedicated as the indicatorless motorway drivers you descibe.

Large air horns sometimes get a reaction from them, but rarely will it result in actually getting a turn signal (unless, of course having the third finger extended and held up in front of you is a new version of the turn signal?)

Good luck...keep guessing.

I think they are now available in most car sales rooms. Apparently they have also introduced models without rear mirrors destined for people not having passed their driving licence. These vehicles also have the advantage of being exempt to the "no using mobile phones whilst driving" law and are targetted at the "I don't give a cr@p" segment of the public.

I believe sparkling..those are marvelous alerts...take into perspective however of the placement..if somebody is speaking approximately some thing they're ashamed of, no longer dealt with or have a low self-well worth, they could no longer have eye touch, fidget and their voice tone could replace...additionally if somebody differences the subject..this is taken through fact the listener isn't drawn to what the talker is asserting...super question

I live in Ireland, they only use them at Christmas time. It helps with their car decoration.

Its a major problem, the authorities don't seem to do anything.
