Yes this is normal. When u have sex you are saying that you are ready for all the possible consequences that come along with it. Like getting a girl pregnant, being a father, paying child support, contracting diseases, etc.. are you ready for that?? Do you have a job that can support the girl u could possibly inpregnant and the child? Sex is a very grown up act and decision....Dont have sex until you are ready to be a father, and can do so properly. You have so much more to do in life that can fill and occupy your time. Don't let your friends scare you into doing something your not ready to do.

It's perfectly normal. This is going to sound cliche, but when it's right you will know it. Don't feel pressured to have sex (especially your first time) with someone just because you feel like your friends may look down on you. I've heard more people say that they wished that they had waited instead of losing it earlier on in life.

Here's a thought for you: Are you really sure that all of your friends are experienced? Lots of people talk about sexual experiences that they've never had in order to fit in. If they're your friends, they won't really care if you've done it or not. Sure, you may get a little ribbing, but for the most part it won't last long.

I think that 16 is not too old to be a virgin. I've worked with people who were in their 20s & still virgins. They may not have been waiting for marraige, but they were waiting for someone that they absolutely loved.

Welcome to the real world where honesty is a quality that should be admired and revered rather than made the brunt of scorn and vicious 'humor'.
Where does it say that You have to lose Your virginity by the age of 16? Or 26? Or even 66? Stand up for Yourself an tell others that You are not going to be forced into something by dint of peer pressure. Tell Your friends that You are waiting for a Woman, rather than the first girl who comes along.
You do realize that most girls older than You can not resist the urge to 'deflower' a young boy and turn Him into a Man?

It's absolutely normal. You are no different than all the other guys that are moral and respectable human beings. You don't want to be embarassed by yourself, you want to do things right, you probably would like it to be something more than superficial and you wonder about it alot. Perfectly normal. Get comfortable with yourself. Then, be friendly and charming and talk to the girls. Be a friend to them and love will come face to face with you without you even trying anything. Once that happens, you will feel what to do without even thinking about it. So, stop worrying, start enjoying your teenage years, respect the ladies and you will be the target of many batting eyes. Don't rush things. Be yourself and relax.

Yes this is normal...there is a lot of guys your age who are in the same position...Don't worry about it theres NO rush in that....My bf didn't lose his virginity until he was 19...i'm his 3rd gf....nothing wrong with that...he is GREAT...the best man i've ever been with..treats me like a princess...so anyhow...i know theres a lot of pressure at school for guys to have sex but its not a necessity..you do it when you feel its right and if NOT don't trip...it doesn't make you a bad person..and if its not with a girl...then who cares its something you'll learn to except....you can't make yourself be gay bi or straight you either are or you aren't.....when the time is right for you you will know..Good Luck

Dont rush it... and your friends are probably lying. Just wait till you feel comfortable.. otherwise you may have a horrible first time... and who wants that!!!!!!!!! Kudos to you for being able to pass it up... girls like a man with a mind of his own, not someone who follows the "boys". It will happen and when it does it will be great. You are making sure of that. Good for you:)

16 is completly normal, trust me dont rush it, i know it kinda sucks to be left out in the dark while your friends all bragg but dont worry. i lost it at 15 to my best friend, (15 in hindsite was too young but it was right at the time and i dont regret it) unfortunatly he had a run in with heroin at 16 and committed suicide, it devestated me. and having only been 15 i was too young to realise how many more emotions are attached after sex, which made it ten times harder to deal with. make sure you find the right girl the first time and treat her like a princess.
good luck sweetie.

YES.When the time is right for you ,believe me,you'll know.Don't worry about what other people are doing,we all march to our own beat.Don't let anyone decide your life, just remember, you are the only person that truly knows how you feel and if you don't feel right, don't do it.

it was the same for me when i was 16 because it's too young to have sex and you must wait for a girl you want to do it with...really!
Don't worry take your time, it's something important that you must enjoy, not some kind of race!
More than that, i'm sure half of your friends lie!
