You know questions like that are just as bad as the atheists attacks on Christianity.

You need to have a spirit of love, meekness, gentleness, and not be confrontational.

Jesus came to seek and save that which is lost, and the only people he rebuked were the religious hypocrites of His day, the Pharisees

This question assumes that there is a God, and that this God has been proven to exist by empirical demonstration or direct experience vs. revelation, faith, emotional rationalizations, appeals to Authority , or hearsay.

It assumes that I need to fear this God because you, and those who taught you, know for certain the nature of his charactor, his plans and intentions; and whether he requires what your morally bankrupt religion says he requires: that I submit to threats, extortions, and coersion, accept uncritically the "advice" and moral judgements of this spiritually bankrupt religion; and that I must beg, be humble, confess, pray to, and submit to an Eternal fealty to his son, then offer all my property, and possibly my life to potential martyrdom. The Bibleis a patchwork affair, created by men who suppressed hetrodox or competing works of faith because they didn't like them, to lord over the common herd and rule the sheeple through loathing, fear and ignorance, and confority, then was re-editted by others who didn't like some of what they read. Whatan infallible holy writ that is?....

Therefore, the answer is that I am not running from your bogieman nobodaddy god, for I have no reasons or need to run.

Why should anyone have to accept ancient hearsay as evidence for the existence of a god?

If Jesus is who he said he was, then he shouldn"t have any problem personally convincing me of that fact, especially considering the penalty with which he is supposedly ready to zap anyone who dosen"t believe. In fact I"d say, all things considered, he is a twisted monster for not doing so.
