This means to have Christ foremost in mind and his words -and not to be seduced like Eve was. That a women wears a covering means she is not involved with things of the world (certain denominations).

In some ways it seems the bible picks on women for being easily deceived and gossiping.

So thinking of what Jesus taught and not what the other women did or are doing in church or where ever or be of easy ear and falling for something that tickles the ear.

This is from Paul's writings. Paul had some difficulties with congregations that he went to that had been torn apart by gossip.

Prostitutes in the bible times went about with their hair uncovered or wigs on as a way of advertising.

A godly, modest woman of that day was expected to wear a scarf or some sort of covering for her hair.

like a bubska or burkha
