Yes, because the sky isn't blue. I know sounds stupid to say so, but the colouring we see in the sky is actually the refraction of light through the atmospheric particles. This is why the sky looks darker directly overhead in the day, because we are looking through less atmosphere, which causes less refraction of the light, to space. So you would be quite accurate to state that it is not blue.

If by "clear" you mean that there are no clouds in the sky then there are plenty of cities where you could say that and be right. NYC is pretty bad. Houston, Texas the sky is often brown on a clear summer day.

Yes, it's an atmosheric illusion. Let me see if I'm following where this is going. Your point has something to do with either God being an illusion or our perception of God being an illusion, with the illusion of the sky being blue as your analogy. Correct?

Yes the ski is blue. People need to stop over analyzing things. I dont care why its blue, it is. If you were going to paint it, you get blue paint.

Come on, kid, we all know: the sky is black. We see it blue because of the atmosphere.

No because the oxygen and moisture in the air make it blue.

technically you are right, but...well to most people, you would not be right because if you look at it. it is blue by the reflection of the ocean. 70% of the world is made up of oceans and big bodies of water.
