God doesn’t favour rational intelligent beings, only superstitious gullible sheep who blindly believe in such things as prophets flying into the sky in blazing chariots, dead men rising from their graves, talking donkeys [hehe], and enormous fire-breathing hippopotamuses with glowing eyes.

Interesting that even after God performed soooooo many miracles before the very eyes of the Children of Israel that as soon as they got an opportunity.. the forsook Him.. He demonstrated His power by sending all the plagues ...of dividing the red sea for them to cross over.. of providing manna for them to eat each day..they saw also that when moses spent time on the mountain that his face literally glowed with the glory of God.. so much so they had to cover his face. YET.. inspite of it all .. they choose to worship a golden calf.
I tell u my friend... the miracles come and they go... but its only a one on one encounter with God that will truly convince anyone that He is real. He is of a realm that the atheist can't penetrate simply because this atheist will not call upon His name and be regenerated to recieve His life and a revelation of Who He is. Regeneration is the enterance that He has made for all of us. Take this way, instead of mere outward miracles and there will be an inner witnessing that God exists.

I guess the obvious answer is that God doesn't want everyone in heaven. Ideally the only thing he wants with him up in heaven is a esky of beer and a cloud choca-block full of hot women.
He also has a fetish for squid. Simple.

This whole world and everything in it is a miracle ...... won`t you then see ?
So many civilisations before our times were shown miracles .... did they believe ... no !
Those who have to belive will believe even looking at this earth and its miracles.
Those who don`t want to believe will not believe even if miracles are shown.
God has stopped spoon feeding humans. After all its only good for us if we believe it doesn`t do God any good..... yet He shows us several signs in our daily lives .... but we fail to use our senses.

This is a key realization, the fact that religion relies on FAITH. It even says so. Really. Look it up. But religious people CONSTANTLY talk about all the obvious evidence around us. Some even claim they can prove God scientifically. The fact that they can't is eclipsed by the fact that their religion doesn't even support trying. If there was real evidence, we'd all see it.

It wouldn't help. Those who will not believe cannot change their minds due to mere miracles. Jesus said that even if the rich man were to rise from the dead, he couldn't help his brothers. Moses and the Prophets are sufficient for those with an open heart. For those with a closed heart, NO proof is sufficient.

Why would 'God' do that? What value would an atheist put on such 'miracles', or would they attempt to find rational explanations and dismiss them? There are many things we cannot answer, but sometimes applying a little logic helps shed some light on them.

So, um, doing a miracle for an atheist is a prerequisite condition for "all" of us to be in heaven?
So I guess that means that we're all going to hell then, yes?
Besides, who said He wanted all of us in heaven?

Well, I don't believe in a Christian God, but look around. The fact that this is a something instead of a nothing is a pretty good trick. You can pin the responsibility of the universe on God and consider it as proof, or pin it on nature. Either way makes no difference to me.
