My cat has been stairing in one place and her hair/back stands up?Whats this meen noone was around?

Something is spooking her. Maybe she sees her own shadow or a ghost. Animals can see ghosts/spirits.

she has been spooked by something or some noise. It shows she's on guard for some reason. They do it when there's danger around like for instance a dog. It's natural and normal behaviour for a cat.

They can see what we can't. Thats why malays don't keeps dogs but cats. They don't bark noisely but starred hard at it. Malays believed they saw angels at the area. But i'm not sure is it that they r scared or not.
Secondly their hair raised and back stands up to protect it territory. To show that they are tall n big n powerful to chased others cat away ,

The world that animals live in is VASTLY different than ours. Without even considering the 'paranormal' they can see, hear, taste, feel and smell FAR FAR better than we can. She could have heard or seen something totally beyond your abilities. But most likely she smelled something that upset her.
Of course, she COULD have seen a ghost...

Something has spooked her. I think cats see things we can't (or at least most of us don't) see...maybe that's the case here.

They feel threatened scared or nervous. Even a strange noise can make her do this. Even if she sees a shadow or tiny piece of fuzz move it could bring this on.
