Inquiries drop off after 2 years.
They have less of an impact on your scores around 6 months and at one year they have no impact on your scores.
Most creditors will not include one year old inquiries in their decisions. Though mortgage underwriters probably will.

If they are not from "you" requesting credit then dispute them.

Disputing legit inquiries can end up hurting you more than helping.
You might see creditors rate jacking you, decreasing your credit limits or closing your accounts.
The CRA's may place fraud alerts on your files.

If you say they are old, don't risk it and let them drop off naturally

No, inquiries stay for the allotted time.

After 7 years of last activity by you, they have to come off your credit report.

How old? Have you checked your credit report lately?
