I'm 14 and have wrinkles. The worst one is between my eyes where I frown. It's a hideous wrinkle/indention from frowning. It's really noticable. People have even pointed it out to me. I always feel so freaking ugly because I have it. Is it normal? Whats the best lotion to use? Thanks in advance.

You have frown lines at 14? I've never heard of someone so young but I do understand that must not be easy for you to deal with. It no doubt will make you feel insecure and that can't be healthy for your psychie.

My suggestion is to think carefully before doing anything rash. There are injections you can get to help reduce the appereance of the lines.

You could go the Facial Rejuvenation route which includes Laser Surgery, removing part of the corrugator muscle so that frown lines will not show so much.

There is also something called The invisible frown plasty, also Botox injections.

But those are all pretty hardcore and expensive. There are topical creams. But I doubt many of them are real. Just be careful when picking a treatment, investigate it thorougly and remember if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Below I have included a link to one of those kind of places. They show a picture of a really old women, then a really young one and want you to believe their fabulous creme made the old woman look that way.

I don't know it COULD be true, but I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt it.

Just be careful and always read the fine print.

Do you go tannning alot? indoor or outdoor?
The UV(the ray from the sun that makes your skin turn tan, or burn) is the reason for wrinkles.
I would use some anti wrinkle stuff. there are tons out there. so if you really want to try to get your skin back to normal. try using some of that stuff. it may be a little spending. but it should work.
good luck!

Here are some tips when you are tanning/living not to get wrinkles:
#1 Make sure your skin is straight(not wrinkles)so when the sun comes it dosnet tan that way. because a line will appear there.
#2 dont squint while tanning
#3 Use SPF while out side and the UV Index is high (for people with rare skin -index: 5 or higher wear a 30)
darker skin wear at least a 15.)
WHen ver you are at a pool wear sun Screen I surgest 45 at all times.

Hmmm...my first suggestion would be to not frown and find something that makes you happy. You're too young to be so serious. On the other hand...you want to get rid of that frown line. There is a creme called "Platinum Regeneration Line Reversal Wrinkle Creme" from BeautiControl. It visibly gives the look of more relaxed wrinkles, furrows, and expression lines. It's the closest thing to "botox in a bottle"

Let me know if I can help...and chin up.

Try to drink more water (6 to 8 glasses per day), and moisturize in the morning and at night before you go to bed. Clinique has some great products. In fact, they have a 3 step system that you can customize for you skin type. If you are eating a lot of fast food- cut that out too. Eat more fruits and veggies. I know... I know... I sound like your mother. The truth is - that's the best advice.

PS Moms are always right...
