All life is animated. That means it has soul. It's not a virus. It's alive, as seen by cellular division, and is dependent upon its mother for nourishment. It is not a leech, nor is it a growth of cancer.
If what you say is true, we walk around with bits of soul missing. We are whole, entire, we are who we are. There is no debate about soul. Soul is the anime.
But, okay, lets say someone had an abortion. Thinking that what they carried within them hadn't had a chance to quite begin yet and wasn't fully formed, it is easier for them to justify their actions/decisions if they think that it had no soul to begin with. It was NOT A PERSON YET.
If that kind of reasoning makes you feel more comfortable, then, well, I will tell you what will comfort you.
If God knows the mother will abort her child, sometimes, the soul that is waiting to be born will not enter that fetus.

An unborn human being is called a baby. When was the last time you asked a pregnant mother when her fetus was due? Why would God give a soul to anyone who will eventually be murdered? Because a soul is an essential element of a human being, and has nothing to do with the manner or time of death of that person. When a human being is conceived and begins his/her life, he/she is already fully human (what other species can result from the union of two human parents?), and already has an immortal soul.

What is a soul? Energy that are inside of every living being? The trees, wind, plants, the circle of life? Everything around us? So a fetus being born automatically has energy because it is also living. Maybe God didn't put the soul into the fetus, but the fetus is being born into a world of energy, which makes it automatically containing the energy of life.

The word "soul" did not exist in the times of Jesus, Socrates or Aristotle, and so the quotations, interpretations and translations of the word "soul" from these sources, means that the word should be handled very carefully.the Biblical Hebrew word for 'soul' is nephesh, meaning life, or vital breath. The various origins and usages demonstrate not only that what people call "soul" today has varied in meaning throughout history, but that the word and concept themselves have changed in their implications.

"Fetus" is only a medical term for a developing baby, the soul leaves a body after it dies, without a soul and a spirit, there would be no life, and the woman would not have became pregnant. The Scripture says "the body without a spirit is dead"

you can call it what you want as long as it makes you feel better. me I call it a baby. and what do you want your answer based on the bible because anything else such as atheism there is no soul. I can't help you with any other religion. but in Christianity it is when the sperm joins with the egg. but I can only back this up with biblical verses so unless you want the verses then I guess I cant help you.

Yes, he creates and has a purpose for every life. He has no control over man when he decides to desroy that life. The futus' sprirt comes right back to him. All aborted babies sprits go to heaven. He bothers because he loves us as soon as conception. Read the bible.

A soul isn't something magic like Peter Pan's shadow that could be sewn back on. The soul is your life force.

All babies have souls, wether or not their is a god or not.
Let me rephrase that. In my opinion, your soul is where all of your feelings are stored. Love, hate, fear...
Not necesarily something that a god gives us. It is a figure of speech.
Can you tell I am tired?
