Why is it that scizophrenics rarely, if ever hear the voices to tell them to do nice things? Like clean up the environment or plant a tree?

Ariel- Why did you change your answer? Not that I'm saying you're wrong now. You could have just added it on as a zinger. :-)

Not all who are diagnosed with schizophrenia hear "voices" that tell them to do bad things. But some persons diagnosed with schizophrenia live within a context of fear because of social labelling associated with the diagnosis. The "label" of schizophrenia is what causes the fear. This fear influences how the "voices" will "talk." Our brains are amazing little organs. They will oblige us anyway they can.

For example... when we constantly focus on the negative aspects of life, we will always "look" for the negative things to "happen." If we focus on the positive aspects of life, we will expect positive things to come our way. Our brains oblige us that thought, every time. It is what we attend to, what we focus on, that is the end-result expression of our brain's processes.

When a person with schizophrenia is living in an environment that is not supportive of their challenges, and that environment insists that they are "dangerous, scary, weird, abnormal... (whatever)," then that person will have dangerous, scary, weird, abnormal thoughts. If a person lives in an environment that is supportive, loving, helpful to them, and accepting, then they will have supportive, loving helpful to themselves and accepting thoughts.

Keep in mind that the "voices" a schizophrenic person "hears" are just thoughts, even though schizophrenic persons process those thoughts a bit differently so they "hear" them as "echoes." But they are thoughts that are no different from what you and I "hear" in our own heads. I know many "normal" people (whatever THAT is) that don't have thoughts about cleaning up the environment or planting trees... they throw their trash out their car windows, and tear down whole forests in the name of progress. Why should persons diagnosed with schizophrenia be singled out?

you're a guy. you're actually not making a song in head voice. in case you have been a woman you won't be in falsetto. they're produced by way of thoroughly diverse concepts. Falsetto isn't easily area of your variety. this is "fake". A soprano or countertenors headvoice, if the countertenor rather became applying head voice, like Chris Colfer who performs Kurt on Glee, this is a think approximately their variety. Falsetto is meant to vibrate on your throat.

Some do. You just don't hear about those. Some just walk around talking to themselves about trivial everyday things. Nothing extra violent or anything like that. There are calm controlled schizophrenics out there. People like to speck only about the exciting things. However, for some reason our brains like to be negative, it likes to make us suffer for some reason so it gives us negative visions and ideas. I have no idea why... Maybe the chemicals responsible are the source of emotions, well they are. Dopamine in excess, which is the cause of Schizophrenia can cause aggression and often in the result in aggressive behavior in Bipolar people going through a manic phase. It causes irritability and psychosis.

They do they just dont talk about those voices as they do not cause a moral conflict within them - it is the voices that tell them to do wrong that they fight with creating the conflict in them. Many eventually do what the voices say in the hope of silencing them...

Who says there aren't. I have a relative that is a paranoid schizophrenic, with the obsessive/compulsive feature of his affliction, he picks up all kinds of litter and not just aluminum cans.

Here is another question- why is it that people that say they have had past life experiences always say that they were like Joan of Arc or a Pirate or something, never a janitor or something boring

multiple personality usually happens because of issues and i doubt that anybody has issues regarding planting a tree since everyone is free to do it.

they create these voices out of ugly things trapped in their heads. its bad emotions taking control or the urges wouldn't grab them.

(i giggled because your question is sassy and i liked it)

Because schizophrenics are under the influence of demonic spirits. Demonic spirits are destructive in nature and do not desire anything pleasant or moral.
