I hear alot of people say they know His Name, they know He died on a cross, but not too many seem to have heard the rest of the story. Or they'll say, "if Jesus were alive today, what would He be doing?"
Well I'm here to testify that I have met Him and He is VERY much alive. God raised Jesus from the grave on the third day after they'd buried Him. When Mary went to visit His grave, the stone that was placed in from of it was rolled away and the grave was empty. He also reappeared to His disciples, Thomas couldn't believe it was really Jesus, until he to put His finger where the holes in His hands & His side were.

God bless you for your faith! But be prepared for the onslaught of nasty and bigoted comments from puerile atheists. I can feel it coming already.
Never forget what Jesus did for you, and keep spreading the word...no matter how nasty the non-believers may become. You are doing Gods will, and He WILL bless you for that!
Take care.

That's a great question. Does the Bible claim in the gospels that Jesus was dead for 72 hours? It does say "on the third day He will rise again." Jesus Himself predicted it. Does the Christian faith actually stand on whether Jesus was crucified on Thursday or Friday and then rose on Sunday morning? No. it stands on the fact of the gospel event itself. Did Jesus die and rise again? Whether it was Thursday or Friday is insignificant. If the Bible said Friday and it actually was Thursday we might have a problem, but the Bible makes no such claim. By the way, the Jews of the northern Palestine reckoned their time differently than the Jews from southern Palestine. One started the day at 6am and the other at midnight if I'm not mistaken.

Jesus is my salvation.
Don't ever stop telling the truth.
People will hurt you ,speak evil of you.
But stay strong till the end.
To many Christians have watered down the word so they can be friends with the world.
But Jesus said" come out from among them."
God Bless you sweetheart.

How silly.
Of course I know it. I celebrate Easter.
That's the basis of Christianity. It's what differs our religion from Judaism and Islam.

Cruci-fiction probably never happened. According to the gnostic heretics (probably the first christians), Jesus was only a man and he was a personification of their cosmic christ. All the events were symbolic. There were no literal miracles, virgin births, dead people rising, etc. But some religious zealots took it all literally.

There are lots of primitive resurrection myths from mankind's childhood. The Jesus myth is no more real than the stories that tell Osiris rose from the dead. Christians do not like to admit that their myth is just one of a multitude, but so it is.
