I think maybe she is a pug and miniature dauschund mix. She weighs about the same as my mini-weenie did at that age and she looks like she has the length. The tail is screaming pug! I don't think that Lab or Collie is even a chance. Perhaps your vet meant Corgi?? That would be a closer possibility. What an adorable girl!!

I think it is an adorable dog. I don't know but I hope someone can identify it. Thank you for putting it picture in. I know alot of breeds but I could not identify that pup. I could see some possible lab but not the collie. Maybe she is the combination of a lab and a smaller type dog. If you take her to the Vet they will probably be able to tell you for sure.

Your vet is not very clever!!
She is gorgeous!!
She looks to me like she has red kelpie in her, crossed with a small toy dog (which is where that curly tail comes from) Possibilities are things like pug (though probably not judging by the face) or maltese, jack russell... could be any number of toy dogs... I cant remember what its called but look up small/toy dogs online and have a look at some pics, to see which best suits her...
You can probably get her tested if you were that interested to know but all round I would say it doesnt really matter...
One thing I can tell is that she is definately NOT going to be a big or even medium size dog, she will be small which, judging by her weight right now is perfectly normal...
She looks happy and healthy and very very cute! there is nothing visibly wrong with her! She will just be a little dog!

a million.Doberman/Lab 2.Rottie/ Retriever of a few form.. in all possibility a lab in there to boot 3.hmm.. i could say a beagle/Staffordshire .. (unusual combination, yet, that face.. hmm..) 4.Rottie/Retriever.. (sounds like that's probable appropriate to #2.. very comparable) 5. hmm.. exciting shade.. yellow lab/doberman consistent with possibility.. somewhat no longer helpful 6. Mutt of the Heinz variety.. i do no longer even have of venture.. consistent with possibility Shepard of a few form blended with a lab.. blended with something else.. 7. Lab/Pitt.. in all possibility.. (I frequently do unlike asserting Pitt combination, as a results of fact they're often mis pointed out.. yet i comprehend somebody that had one.. and that's what it gave the impact of.. and that they knew the dogs mum and dad.. ) they could comprehend the breed.. yet considering the fact that i comprehend one that appeared same to this one.. and that they knew that the daddy replaced into an AKC registerd APBT and the mum replaced into an entire blooded black lab (no longer AKC).. i'm no longer likely to assert there is not any way yet another combination could have arise with this dogs.. even though it could could desire to be something comparable.. like a Staffordshire.. or Patterdale.. If it had a SMALL Lab's genes blended with an American Bull dogs it could artwork.. (the american Bull dogs are extensive.. so it could could desire to be a smaller dogs blended with it. (the only different ones i'm able to think of of contain far too uncommon.. i'm able to't even think of them blended and in a pound)

Hmmm... If her small size can be attributed to poor nutrition while in the care of the previous owner, you may be looking at a sweetie who's getting ready for a growth spurt. If this is the case, she may be a smaller size chocolate lab & mini boxer mix. Either way, enjoy her. Happy life to you both!

When I look at the pictures I can't see his tail properly but I think it curls over witch is common in a lot of small breeds of dogs, by looking at the face it looks to me to be a chihuahua X pug. have a look at some photo's of these breeds and there may be resemblance

That tail says Pug. The face says a little Chihuahua. But she's got those short little legs - maybe Peke? You've got a true mix there! Cute little thing!

What a cute dog! I'm thinking she's a dachshund/peke or dachshund/shih tzu.
Check out this site, it has lots of pics of mixes, I think the pics of the above mixes look most similar to your dog.
(I don't think she's pug based on the face, she would have a more squared-off snout)

It looks a little like my neighbor's dog that's a dachshund - lab mix. The short legs are defininely an indication of dachshund or basset hound.
Whatever she is, she's cute!

Well whatever she is, you need a new vet. She doesn't look like a lab OR a collie. She's super cute though!!!!
