My friend uses an airbrush makeup by Classified (it's actually a foundation for your face) but airbrush makeup is so common now that you can find it at the drugstore. It completely covers her dark tattoos on her ankle.

I worked in a tattoo shop for the last three years and I know that roses can usually cover and hide things real good and still be feminine and pretty. Especially being so big, leaves and shading are good for hiding. It doesn't have to be roses, a lot of other flowers can work, but roses are best in cover-up situations!!!

there are a number of things you could get BUT you will need to chose the right artist. not all artists are good at doing coverup tattoos and very few are good enough to make the original tattoo not visible. definitely research tattoo artists so you can get the right one for you.
you could get an oblong bunch of roses or some vines maybe even a busy scene but your artist will be the one that can best help you think of something to cover it up with.
