I understand that fix-it tickets are at officer's discretion. But lets say that one gets a fix-it ticket for tinted windows in CA and takes care of it. What can happen if one re-tints the windows and gets pulled over for it again? Is there a more severe penalty? Will the officer definitely have a record of the prior fix-it ticket in his/her computer? Will someone who knows please explain the range of possible penalties in this particular situation?

Please no replies from the standard "well don't re-tint" or whatever type people. I am not interested in hearing from you nor is anyone else.

There is a record and you won't get off easily the second time around for another offense. Look for a fine and points. The problem is that window tints are easily visible to any cop. When you're stopped for something as lame as that, you and your record is searched for any outstanding wants and warrants. Why advertise?

Yes, with every citation issued, there is a record of the matter in every law enforcement system in CA. Should a person do it again, it would result in hefty fine (especially in CA) and more so (especially because you committed the same offense) just may result in a Court Hearing. A situation like this is considered blatant disrespect and doesn't go well with law enforcement or the Courts.

you're able to be able to desire to do away with your unlawful tint out of your domicile windows and take your motor vehicle right into a CHP station the place a CHP officer will verify to be sure that your window tint is now legal and whether it truly is he will sign off on your fee ticket and turn it in so which you will no longer get an arrest warrant for failure to conform. CA is fairly strict on unlawful window tint so do no longer bypass decrease back out and retint your domicile windows at unlawful probabilities. verify what the regulation facilitates formerly you waste extra money.
